OUR FALL 2019 TRANING IS FULL - NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR OUR WINTER/SPRING 2020 TRAINING
Are you interested in learning more about yoga? Do you ever feel like you've just scratched the surface with the physical practice? Do you want to delve deeper? Are you ready to be transformed? What's holding you back?
At KC Yoga Kula, we understand that it's easy to feel lost in a large group setting, so enrollment is limited to ensure one-on-one mentoring and plenty of time to get your questions answered.
You don't have to aspire to be a yoga teacher in order to take the training. It's a great way to expand your personal practice and cultivate a closer connection to yourself and others. It’s also a great way to round out your offering in another wellness field such as personl training, counselling, social work, massage therapy, teaching, or similar services.
You may have heard that Yoga Alliance is enhancing the requirements for Registered Yoga Schools, ensuring new teachers are guided by experienced lead trainers and specific core competencies are conveyed. The good news is that KC Yoga Kula already meets the new criteria. We have been committed to high standards all along.
Lead Trainer, Nancy Kaul E-RYT 500, has been practicing yoga since 2003, teaching since 2013, and leading 200 hour trainings since 2017. She is passionate about the benefits of a regular yoga practice and believes that everyone can practice if they can breathe and move with intention. Having studied with a wide variety of teachers encompassing many styles over the years, she is able to share her passion with depth and breadth, providing more than one perspective so you can tune in to your unique strengths to create your own path.
What we'll cover:
History and Philosophy of Yoga
Principles of alignment and anatomy of movement as they relate to yoga
Methods of teaching to create a complete yoga experience in different types of settings
How to design and structure a class
Taking the principles off the mat and into daily life
Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Kundalini, Aerial and Chair Yoga
Adaptations for special populations including trauma survivors
The energetic system of the Chakras
We experience the principles of yoga both on and off the mat, and encourage serious students to delve more deeply into their own personal practice throughout the training and continuing after completion.
There is a combination of lecture, discussion, asana, pranayama, meditation, and practicum to create a well rounded experience.
Payment plans and Limited Scholarships are available. Contact Nancy for more information at 816.803.2257 or firstname.lastname@example.org
